i enjoy drama

but sometimes it is too much.

today while gardening, a mishap occured...

While Aunti Ann and I dug and mixed and poured soil.....up up up the steps went a Julia, and then down down down.

She wailed and cried and wailed some more. After we had applied coldness to her head (where we THOUGHT the pain was) we discovered that she would not could not should not stand on her right leg. Puzzled and concerned we conspired a slightly illegal trip to the hospital (no seat for her...) and went straight to the Emergency room. After two hours of waiting, talking to nurses, playing with teddy, talking to each other, cuddling, and discussing the deeper meaning of an X-ray....we found that nothing was wrong, and her leg was most likely bruised...but FINE. :) cool.
Julia got two stickers out of the deal, and a quick education in X-rays and nursing....she LOVED it. i think she may become an X-ray technician.....

well...that is our tale. She is still in pain. please pray for her to get over it...i mean, better. :) teehee. Umm...she isn't extremely tough yet...poor thing. i hope to walk again soon. :)

Poor Julia, we will pray for her, and hope that all is well. We will also pray for the family to get thru this time as well.

Get better Julia!

she still hasn't walked. we asked her to just before bed, but she really couldn't. it was sad. poor darlin'. it must REALLY really hurt. but no marks...so at least there is no wound to heal...just soreness.

Poor precious. These little bodies tend to heal quickly. I think we were all meant to be that way before the fall(no pun intended). Surely her guardian angel softened the fall...could have been much worse. Glad she's okay.

it totally could have been TERRIBLE. you are sooo right. God completely protected her from our rough cement steps (which leave scratches on you if you are only sitting on them), she had NO marks on her body. She landed ON HER HEAD pretty much, so i was surprized when her LEG hurt... so God truly did protect our wee one.

We will pray for her speedy recovery.
Love you all!

oh dear. poor little julia! maybe you two can have fun playing nurse! i can see julia making the most of her sore leg, and still being full of giggles! We will also be praying for her. it sounds like you handled everything wonderfully and came through as a protective mother. i doubt she could ask for anything more. is she allowed to take children's tylenol or anything to help ease the pain? i was surprised to read that there wasn't a sprain either! God sure did keep her safe! well, have fun doing super special non-walking actvities! love from us
