greeeeeeeeeeeeeen day

My garden is blooming, growing, greening, and sparkling. Gardens CAN sparkle, for those of you who are wondering. Ah, the hot hot hot spell is over, we are enjoying a break of rain, wind, thunder and cool air. breathable air actually. lovely again. here is my garden with plants in it: lavender, garlic, black eyed susan's, echinaecia (spell??), sweet williams, MINT, basil, cana lilies, dalia's, jacobs ladder, and solomon's seal. :)

To continue in the greeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeen, we had green apple pancakes. not made with green apples, they were red. but the dough was green. :)
the Perfect Fry Guy. He does it right EVERY time.

Julia enjoying the tent from Tova!!! It is AWESOME! thank you Tova, you are so sweet!

Quite the garden. Didn't know you had so many varieties (and knew all their names!) And that tent, it's a beauty -it'd certainly attract attention at the local KOA! Well, enjoy the coolness while it lasts.

Sue,
I love your garden. It is so wonderful to produce things for youself eh? Some days i think i will join a commune and bake bread and hang things outside to dry and grow herbs and potatoes. And then i smell the smog around me and i get easily distracted by sale signs. I will forever struggle with this capitalist society. Arrrg
But, i just love your garden and i think it is magnificant that you are growing beautiful things for your family. Dave is counting down from five and so i have to go .. ahh here he comes!
Bye

dad- i surprized myself as well, knowing all the varieties of plants that i planted...haha.

i NEVER thought i would remember them when Dee was telling me which was which...

funny thing this memory. stores the most interesting things. and sometimes forgets the important ones..haha. you can just never know what it will remember next!

Your garden's growing nicely since I was there!! Nu brought home some lavender plants for me the other day too, don't they smell beautiful? The pancakes are making my mouth water by the way.
