Peru

Dave's folks returned from a missions trip to Peru recently, and this BEAUTIFUL dress is thanks to them!! :)

i love it so much, i would wear it myself, but i doubt they make it in my size!! :)

hope all is well out there in reader-land, spring has FINALLY SPRUNG here, our tulips are pushing through the dirt, crocouses are blooming, and mud is EVERYWHERE!!!

God is so good, He has made everything so amazing. Julia and i have been reading about our solar system and the different planet conditions. I am very thankful that we don't live on mercury. (i know we never could, but that is the point!) it is exciting to learn about the world and know more of our great God in the process.

He has revealed much of Himself all around us and He is faithful to let us know more of Him if we ask.... i like to be a bit of a rebel, usually about silly things like brand names, and 'normal behavior' but this is another thing i like to rebel on- Popular christianity is telling us (in many books and circles) that God is unknowable, too mysterious for us to develop any kind of Truth about Him. The truth is however, that God calls us to know Him better. ( Ephesians 1:17) Sure we never will know ALL of Him until Heaven, but read the bible. it is His revelation to us. Look around you, it is another kind of revelation for us. isn't that grand!!!???? i think it is wonderful.
