I'm sick too! I just have a cold.. but a very very bad and painful one. How did this happen? I woke up yesterday morning and i was fine! Peachy, with a cherry on top. And then in the afternoon i felt a lump in my throat. By evening i had the worst sinus headache i have ever had, the house was covered in dirty tissues, Corrina would not go to sleep, and dave was at youth. He soon came home and then left promptly to find medicine that i could actualy ingest without much effect on the baby. Nasal spray. It didn't really do much, but i tried so hard to use my power of mind to tell my body that it helped. Dave is having "daddy day", a day where he does everything, except breastfeed, and i am napping and taking it easy. I fear i am infecting the keyboard with the many germs that have moved from my nose to my finger tips. We are going to go out for a little stroll right now so i can get some fresh air. It might be too hot out there for my uncomfrotable head and nose, but maybe it will help. Dave had the hiccups, and he gave them to Corrina. His went away and now she had them. I am going to nap this afternoon, and think of you, napping. Dave is worried that we have "motherly" sickness, which is an evil plot to take away all the mothers of the world, leaving only the daddies, single people, and the barren. Oh dear me, we had better get ourselves well so our lovely husbands still have wifies to love. Take care of yourself!
Love Janie
Not much of a story, but it is a true story at least!
Oh dear my Sue.
I'm so sorry! Those nasty temperature shifts, huh?
If only I were there to read to you and make you soup. And tea. Tea always helps, even if it just gives the illusion of feeling better.
Love you!!!! We are praying for your wellness (0:
thanks folkies, the stories and non-stories were helpful to my mental state.
ug.
i feel MUCH better after sleeping for a big during nap time. Dave has been SOOOOOOOOOO helpful!! my oh my! usually i dread being sick, because of all the responsiblities i have, but today was glorious. (besides the feel like i'm dying part)
Dave did all he could:made lunch, supper, did laundry, gave Julia a bath, finished our duct work with Cam, did errands, bought me ginger ale, and other good sick things.
that is my story.
