How far beyond Zebra did you go?
So folks, we have had another party, and taken more pictures, and learned many more things. Beyond the usual, we have spent time endulging our minds in the wide variety of domino-things, the relationship between "helping to cut broccoli for supper" and "still having some left to eat at supper", the theory behind "why iced tea isn't for breakfast", the symbiotic relationship of the juliacreature and mommycreature, and why "toadstools" are for looking at and "mushrooms" are for eating.
Here is the treasured Uncle Adin (Adam) . He leaves soon for school, where he WILL BE MISSED, but we are SOOOOOOOOOO EXCITED FOR HIM!!! Ad, you will have the TIME of your LIFE. The beauty of Sweden is awesome (similar to BC hills, trees, green, lovely) and you will find yourself lost in the woods, farms and meandering roads more often than you thought possible. If you want to see where this guy is going, check my top link on the link list.
AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH, the attack of the AUNTI'S!!!!!!!!!!! :) Julia loves having family around!!
Something i've been meaning to write down is this: "Blue Lunch" yup. that's it. One of MIss Elizabeths games. We play domino's ALL THE TIME, but she continually comes up with new things to do, when she tires of the old. we make parks, houses, towers, the usual, but now she has her FAVORITE pieces, the dark blue five dot ones, and the light blue single dot ones. These comprize her "blue lunch" and she holds them tightly until i make her put them all away at the end of our game. strange but true.
another cute cute story: we recently "showed" our home to a potential buyer. I was cleaning and organizing all day, so Julia kept asking, "who is coming over today?" (it might be true that i clean mostly when people are visiting....but i'll keep you in the dark as long as possible about that...) I told the Jules that someone was going to look at the house . "WHY?"
"Because they may want to buy it."
pause.
(in the slightly whiney, not so cute voice, but very cute words)
"BUT this house is special to MEEEEEEEE"
hahahahaha.
ooooooooooh funny. anyway. she'll warm up to the idea, after all, she sings about wanting a tree with a swing in our backyard allllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll the time. i think she's ready to move.
love from sue

I totally got the warm fuzzies reading all your precious anecdotes...wish I was there (0:
Julia is totally an independent thinker. Awesome. Hugs!!!
Baby j is certainly getting a rich and colourful toddlerhood. She's a very blessed little one and good for you in making the most of this precious time of life. We are happy for all 3 of you (or, I guess it's 31/2). Isn't is great that Adam is on his way to Holsby. May he have a wonderful and spiritually enriching year there. - Dad and Mum H.
what wonderful sunflowers! They look so great!
Glad that things are going so well. I am so happy for all of you. I am sure that you guys are going to miss Adam, but you know that he will be enjoying his time.
Take care
Wow, when i first looked at the pic of adam i thought "hmmm, dave looks a littel different", and then it clicked that the pic was adam. My goodness, the genes in that family are sooo strong. I hope yours are ready for battle. Wouldn't it be so weird if you had a boy that looked more like a hillson than a naus. I don't think it could be possible! I love the idea of genetics. I mean god could have created us to not share anything of ourself with our offspring, but i bet that would have made things pretty difficult in the beginning!
wonderful stories, i always love to hear what Jules is up to!
happy resting and sleeping and reading.
Janie
The naus genes are so so so strong, i don't know if i could have a child that was more hillson than naus...but i'm trying really hard. :) you know, for my dad's sake. the Hillson name ended in our family...two girls married off and gone to a new name...need to keep the genes visible at least somewhere...maybe the eyes? nose? ears?
loves.
That is so cute... Claudia (at 5 years old) didn't want to move to the house we're in because the house we were at before was special to her too! Even though we have a huge backyard and we are close to the water. I just found out it was partly becasuse we gave Claudia the master bedroom at the old house and she has quite a smaller room here. I have something for Princess Julia. I might drop it off thursday or friday.
hey A, i may be gone thurs morning, but just give me a call before you come to make sure i'm here, k? :)
see you then! :)
love s.
