RIDICULOUS!

I thought i'd get a bit o' news this morning, as to associate myself with what is happening in the world. I was thoroughly disappointed however, to find it a frustrating event!

Did anyone else listen to the absurd news review of "NEW ISRAELI RAIDS"????? The CBC news room did a fabulous job of increasing the tension of, "oh dear, what is happening in the mideast, did Israel really disobey the UN???" only to have the story come to the surface, it was Israeli soldiers defending a Hezbollah breach of the cease fire. The news made it sound as though it was ISRAEL that was disobeying the UN's forced cease fire, when it was really the Hezbollah. crazy.

i hope they are embarrassed.
I truly hope they are.
the news woman even questioned the Israeli spokesperson as though they were MAKING it up or telling some form of biased falsehood.

rude rude rude.

anyway. i had to vent, i thought it was totally absurd.

in other news, i learned that Hershy the chocolate lab in Alberta's drug sniffing crew retired.

have a great day.

I have to admit, when things come on the news about the middle east, I change the channel. I have a good friend who is away there now. He has been there for about 2 weeks, and his family has not heard from him. It is so scarry to think of the things that have happened, and knowing that my friend has a wife and two children waiting at home for him. He is a wonderful man, and I pray for his safety daily.
I wish that things in that area would settle down, and things would get better there. But I don't think that is going to happen anytime soon.

you are so right R. unfortunatly, for the people there and here that are related to the crisis. But the conflict is such that one side says there shall be no peace until Israel is completely destroyed, and another side that will most likely not be at peace until all biblical prophecy has been fulfilled. it is difficult to assess what is the 'best ' thing to do in this situation. but i think you have the RIGHT IDEA. :) prayer.

The news media in general must have blinders on to see events and situations as they portray them...absolutely crazy and definitely interested in calling Israel the aggressor even though it is surrounded by entities calling for Israel's complete destruction. Good detective work Su, thanks for informing us!

yep. the only peace they will have is a false peace, 3 and a half years of it after signing a certain peace agreement!!

Yes, there will be no peace until the Prince of Peace comes. Meanwhile madman Nasrallah declares Jihad(holy war) and vows to wipe out not only Israel but the whole world. (By the way, did you know there have been 50 babies named after him this month? One Muslim lady had triplets and named them all Nasrallah!)
Good work Sue. Keep exposing these lies. This hatred is demonic and the Bible says the whole world will gather against Israel. The media is helping to fulfill that quite nicely.
We can ignore it until it comes to our soil.
oops, I have ranted once again. Forgive me.

yep. crazy. i had the chance to talk about it with a friends' family today, and i was encouraged to hear about the news reports that are more balanced, or even pro-israel. it was good to hear other Christians talking about a matter of history that means so much to us in the course of...well...history.
