Coupon Searching

I would love ideas from folks out there on how to save on my grocery bill using coupons.

my only tool at this point is: www.save.ca a canadian website that provides different coupons..perhaps weekly or monthly. i don't know yet. and they let you click on what you want and then they do all the work and mail them to you! fabulous! it takes about 4 days.

The savings are not HUGE since they provide very few for items i actually buy.

THat is why i pose this question: what do you do to save (besides having a solid list and going to the store with the most deals for food you buy) ?? are there any really REALLY good online coupon tools???? let me know.

from Su.

Susan,
There is a site, www.redflagdeals.com that has links where you can sign up for coupons and free samples of things. They also list great deals as well, more so for trip and electronics, but its a pretty cool site none the less.

Hey you!! I also have had no luck with Canadian coupon sites - I think those are an American phenomenon. Same goes for double and triple coupon days - we definitely don't have any of those in our area!! We like to look at the ads every week and see if any frequently-purchased non-perishables are on sale...then we stock up on those. Aside from that, a list that you stick to is a beautiful thing (except, of course, when pregnancy cravings take precedence...and then look out!!). Love you!

Have you gone to your most frequently used product's websites. They sometimes have coupons right on their site. And some let you register to get emails with promotions and coupons.

I find that you can buy coupons online at ebay.ca. You can get really good deals and pay $0.99 for coupons saving up to like $20. Many grocery cards and food saving coupons and especially for baby items such as formula, diapers, wipes and such.

With the new baby comming soon, sign up for all the formula clubs (even if you plan on breast feeding) because most of them give you coupons for many other items and some even give you free bottles, baby food and cerial.

Also a great book to look for at the library is "Free Stuff for Baby" it has so much info on how to contact companies and request free stuff or money saving coupons.
There's a website as well. http://www.freestuff4baby.com/canadian.html

I got involved in a mom's group throught healthy babies healthy children and they directed me to some really great free stuff. such as a home saftey seminar that you recieve a free babygate and a car seat safty seminar that gives you a free car seat.

Well hope this was some help to you and your growing family.

just open publisher on your computer, and make coupons. you could even make them store specific, and put a fake barcode on it, and when it doesn't work you can just say "oh, geez, that's always happening with these coupons. i guess it is the supplier. sorry about that. can it be punched in manualy?" That usualy works. Just copy the small print off of another coupon so that it looks real, including like the product maker, nestle, quaker, etc.
Anyway, i hope you realize i am totaly joking by now.
I have no real answer because i have the same trouble you have in finding coupons. I came to see the ideas given!
have a good week
