Spring where art thou?

i am longing for the days of warmer winds, greener grass and less outerwear. Here is a picture capturing some spring beach-play last year....ah, i am sooooooo ready for that again! I like the snow, i enjoy the winter, but i am done with it. Too many mittens, hats, coats....too many sniffles and coughs....i can't wait to buy some dirt, plant some seeds, and pull out the flipflops to run to the beach!!!!!!

Hmmm...that will be lovely.

I'd love to hear what YOU are doing this summer???? anything unusual?? Traveling far? let us know.........maybe you will help to inspire someone else's spring-summer plans!!

love to you. from the naus family.

i totally feel your pain, although i admit you have it worse than i do what with the snow and all.
some of our spring/summer plans...the seattle zoo, japanese blossom festival in vancouver, bradner flower show, may day parade, and of course camping at hornby...so sad that you will miss that, hopefully when all the kids are a bit older we can go altogether!!
i'm envious of all the fairs and festivals you're going to be going to, Ontario-style (0:

SOunds lovely sis. zoo...so fun. may day parade, perfect for your kids' ages: lots of candy, animals, and hands on stuff. :) i loved that day, mostly for the visit of the Farm afterwards though, that was awesome! :)

working on making our "new yard" a yard! I started to move things around last year when we bought the house, but now, I need to get things finished... no more putting it off, just gotta get it done!

I hope to get grass planted out back so that Taylor will have some yard to play in, get the deck redone so nobody gets hurt, and fill the front yard with flowers! Bright colours, new flowers!
I too am looking forward to spring! Not just to rid the snow, but to rid the morning sicknes lol!

Hugs from our house to yours

Summer, hmmm - we have a campsite booked at Hicks Lake at the end of June and I am realy looking forward to that. We also want to do a trip to Cranbrook to visit Ryan's brother and family. We're plannig to spend some time in the Okanagan visting family and soaking up some sun. Also want to camp for a few days with Ryan's older brother and his family. We will be going to Seaside Oregon in early September for a few days. Somewhere in there I have to find time to plant and tend my vegetable garden and fruit trees/vines! I think I am being a little over-ambitious maybe!!!
Oh well, it will be fun no matter what we do - I love summer time!
