family bonding time

Julia has asked to sing to sam whenever we put him to bed, whether night or nap, and we love it as much as she does.   It has always been our tradition to sing a bit of "Jesus loves me" or some hymn as he gets put in bed, and now Julia creates whatever song she likes as we put him to bed. The above picture is Julia writing out the song she would like to play on her Uke and sing. :)  So cute. dave actually wrote the words for me to remember, so here they are:

"He is watching over you,
God is watching over you,
and He will be in your dreams,
and in your heart,
GOd is watching over you."
-Julia's song.
I LOVE JULIA'S NEW PJ'S!! i want some for myself!! 10$ at Target, pretty awesomely cozy.
and the cuteness.......

Beautiful song...I love it! This week the name we are studying in our Bible study on the names of God is El Roi, the God who sees and watches over us. Julia's song is perfect, can I read it to the ladies?

The handsomeness of the young man Sam is overwhelmingly awesome!

Precious girl! What a great big sister she is. Evan loved to sing to Rachel when she was a baby too. I will never forget the song he sang to her in the first days we brought her home from the hospital. He held her and rocked her and sang "Don't cry, don't cry, I will always be nearby."

aaaawwwwwwww that is a sweet sweet song Christa!!!

yes, carla go ahead and read it! :) haha. it is a little more theologically sound then her first 'worship' songs, about God the fairy and Jesus the magical one. hahaha. she has matured in her doctrine! hhaha.

everyday it is a bit different, one day her song was about fearing God and not people.

anyway. thx for the comments folks, always nice to hear from ya!
