Limp Lettuce

So... i haven't tried this yet, but i read it today on a new website i like to explore. (www.lovefoodhatewaste.com)
If your lettuce looks too limp to serve, toss it in a bowl of cold water, with a peeled, sliced potatoe and apparently it will be revived! but serve it the same day. :)

When I worked up north I needed to revive some lettuce. I stuck it in cool water, in a big bucket, and put it in the fridge. But it didn't work, because I actualy put it in the freezer. The lettuce was mostly frozen and was completely wasted! I think your tip will work much better!
