The Volcanic Eruption of Green Mountain.

We narrowly missed being exiled by a massive eruption of a local mountain this morning, 9:30 am, EST. Icy winds, melting snow, and then... KAAABOOOOMMM!! Well, i suppose it sounded a little more like, "Fzzzzzzzzzz". The mountain side to the East was completely covered in a raging river of lava, to the West, however the village was spared until later eruptions occurred ( 9:40 am, EST ) . Cars have been recovered from the rivers of lava (Surprising, i know! They should have melted like butter on hot toast), to the joy of one Samuel Naus, a local of Green Village, at the base of Green Mountain. He is quoted to have said, " Are my cars going to get washed now?" A sure sign that there is hope among the village folk that their regular life will commence once emergency crews clear away the hazards ( and of course, the poisonous gases dissipate ).

I'm sorry to hear of the natural disaster in your vicinity. It does look hopeful indeed that things will be back to normal soon. I sincerely hope that no kitchen furniture was damaged beyond repair.
It looks like I need to go buy a salad spinner for more reasons than one now! Beautiful!
