WE BOUGHT A HOUSE!
THe events of the last week have happened rather quickly. So quickly in fact, that just now as i sit to write them, they hit me. WE OWN A HOME. well, truly it isn't a home yet, just a house. Plain walls, empty rooms, silent echoing spaces, and on top of all that....a lot of love and care that is lacking. We shall have our hands full for a while, but it will be worth it. THere is much to do, but it will increase the value of the house by almost 100%. Sweet! :)
ANyway. the story goes like this: Monday dave went to look at a house with papa Naus and ol' friend Jim. THey called me in, i came to look. We walked through, saw the potential, realized that this was the first tangible answer to prayers of our future, and put in an offer the next day. I admit, i was dreaming of colors, renovations, and gardening with Julia......but in reality, that's what i'll be doing! haha. along with a lot of cleaning, nailing, sanding, painting, fixing, mopping, scouring, etc..... but i look forward to a new season in life. Besides, when better to do all this in-door work then winter?? we can't be OUT then, haha, just kidding. Ontario isn't THAT cold. brrrr.

Congratulations Naus family! What fun! It must be a season for home buying, you're the third friends of mine in the last two weeks to buy a house. Maybe everyone's thinking about finding a warm place to spend the winter.

Yippy! That is very exciting! We can't wait till that day comes! So how many rooms, what sort of lay out.. bigger kitchen? trees in yard? Have fun dreaming, even more fun accomplishing!
three bedrm, one and a half story (meaning: cool attic!!!) , full basement (all cement still), apple tree, small yard, lots of potential for cuteness. everything is on the main level. Front porch, walk intio living room (with fireplace), it leads into the dining room (on your right), then to the back of the house is the kitchen, walk through there to the hallway where the bed rooms and bath room are....yup small. good for cleaning. :)
I'm sitting here reading this outloud to my family. All here are happy for you. Carly says, "Ask her what my room is going to look like?"

you are welcome to come and stay with us! you can live in the attic, although, unfortunately we won't be living so close to those schools you wanted to attend. :( boohoo. i wish we coul dstill offer you a home while you STARTED school :(
