roaring pots??
Nap Time Project:
fresh strawberry tarts. mmmmm... first the pastry....Then the sauce...... i just love the way it swirls in the pot. soooo beautiful. Strange occurance at this step of the process: my pot began to growl. this has never happened in all my days of cooking!! the sugar mixture was nearly boiling and the vibrations it was making were causing a growling noise from the bottom of my mixture!! it was crazy! (sorry if this is dull to you! i thought it was story worthy because of the horror-like qualities of a roaring attack pot.)
mmmmmmmmmm fresh berries........
FInished product: lovely tarts. I wanted to make a pie, but my plates have all gone missing??? i think i gave away too many pies last year...and NEVER got the plates back????
oh well. this was fun. and tasty.
farewell!

Mmmmmm, i can almost taste them just looking at the picture. wanna mail some across the country?? looks like you are having fun and enjoying your summery days. sorry i STILL have not gotten back to you about the scaffolding :) ... i'll call soon!
Those tarts look delicious. Was that a cream sauce you made? When i was a little girl i was allergic to starwberries and would get hives on my bottom when i ate raw ones. I could only eat them once they were cooked, so there was a lot of sauce action in my house (and alot of ichy bum action because i could not keep my fingers off those plump, red berries!)
Enjoy your tarts, and i hope people start giving your pie plates back, filled with pies!
janie
heeheeheeeee.

sounds like a song:
oh i ate the little berry-
the result was so scary!

Su, your tarts look scrumptious. Yummmmmmm.
I'm glad you all survived the attack of the ferocious growling pot...very scary indeed.
We survived an attack by the horrible rumbling-earthquake-unbalanced-washing-machine the other day....whew, it was a little scary while I thought the world was ending! (Then I realized it could not be, since not all of the prophecies in Revelation have come to pass yet (0:)
Ha! Good one Sarah! Sue, you amaze me! Could you mail one of those to us?
Like, my mouth is watering really bad...
hahaha, mail order tarts???
i suppose that would be similar to a Prov. 31-Busy-at-Home-Mom-Business...
