Christmas tree farm parade extraveganza!

What a fabulous place....very cold though. We arrived, built a fire, rode some ponies, traveled in the train, wandered in with the petting zoo animals, and tried to keep warm...Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. and of course, got our family Christmas tree....because it is after all, a Tree Farm.

The parade was a delight. We bundled up soooooo warm after a long afternoon nap, and walked down the street to find a place to sit. Julia was enthralled by the big marching bands...there were three or four of them! She loved the costumed-characters that wandered by waving, hugging, and teasing. (i don't know what some of them were supposed to be, but there was quite a variety) We drank hot cocoa, ate chocolate chip cookies, laughed at the floats and giggled at the lights and noise.

very fun day.

What a lot of winter fun! Too bad no snow. We have it all here! Still a few inches on the lawns. Roads are clear though. It's fun keeping warm and cozy on a cold winter day isn't it. Today was Mekaia's dedication at the Bridge. We were there and so was Preet and her husband! Tonight it's Cynthia's open house for her grad we'll be at.
