more of "where have we been?"

Fort Langley: the girls had a wonderful time pretending to be pioneers', it was adorable!! they ran around after the blacksmith talking to him, and when we left they announced that they were "Friend's of the blacksmith". What an awesome place to play and explore with your imagination!!
"trading furs". at the Fort.
Sam. Jules. Nana. Great Oma.
Cupcakes with Chris, Katy and Mark!!! yippeeee!!! what a wonderful surprise this was!! Katy and Mark had us over to their enchanted home over-the-mountain and they had my old friend Chris come to surprise us!! :)
katy and chris! :) *sigh* that was lovely!
eating lunch on da floor! :) he wasn't angry.... as this picture wrongly conveys!!
TEA PARTY with Nana and Aunty Sarah!! :) this was a great idea my mother had... we took Julia and her cousin out for a princess-high-tea! :)
Tea Lessons: Aunty sarah taught the girls that you need to put up your pinky finger while drinking to be like a princess..... we couldn't stop laughing when Julia so daintily did so, but with the wrong hand.
SWEEEEET COUSINS.
i thought the girls were way too cute hiding behind their magazines while we waited for our tea and desserts.... aren't they cute?
First time on the BIG boy swing.
VERY SWEET grandpa photo.
walk walk walk!! aaaaaaahhh i love being OUTSIDE!! and so does my son, my oh my, Sam will NEVER ask to go back in as far as i can tell... dave says to give him 6 months in a field and then MAYBE he'll tire of the outdoors... but i don't know... :)
MY DEAR SWEET COUSINS. who are all taller than me now. where have the years gone? :)

Looks like so much fun!! I'm glad you had such a wonderful trip...too bad you couldn't have had a long layover in Winnipeg!! :) I miss you! Maybe we can see each other one day when one (or both!) of us isn't nursing a baby!!!

It's great to see a post here again! I can't believe how old Julia and Lacina are! My gosh, they are children, not toddlers, not preschools, but children, lovely, pretty, princess-tea-drinking little girls.
It must have been amazing to be among the BC trees, colors, sky, mountains, and rain. Looks like it was a little wet and cold, but at least there were mountains. I haven't been back in 2 years, so I am a little home sick.
Mercy looks fabulous. She has such bright eyes, that one!
Best of luck unpacking and settling back in, and snuggling on your own couch!

Great pictures! I love the ones of Julia and Lesina at the tea party - such sweet girly girls. We sure enjoyed having a visit with you. After you left I realized that I hadn't had my camera out at all. :(
Rachel is still talking about her "new friend" Julia and how much fun they had together. I wish it wasn't so far for you to come to our house for a playdate!!
