growing things: a way to bring on spring time!

Above: our "Growing Table" complete with crystal garden, seed potatoes, cat grass and dinosaurs.

Below: Creations by Sam, his "bird" sorry the picture is dark. The last picture I am very excited about, they are Crazy Crayons. we made them by reusing our old crayons, melting them down into new ones!! These will be found during the treasure hunt at Julia's bday!! :) aren't they pretty??

Cool crayons! And I like your Easter decorations from your last post - I honestly have never thought to decorate for Easter - other than coloured eggs of course.

:0) You know Lisa, i hadn't thought of it before this year. i read this gorgeous blog by a girl down in Texas, and she is crafty/artsy like nothing i've ever seen before... her decorations were BEAUTIFUL!!!! :) Much more sophisticated than mine, but i like my verses. :)

It's definitly a great idea for the kids, to prepare them for Easter... I do my own stuff for Lent but I want them thinking of it too.

And hopefully we'll meet up again sometime like we did at Canatara two years ago! Oh and I would love to see some pics of Karla Ann's baby, my mom says she's so sweet.

Su! LOVE your crayons!! Where did you find the molds? I saw these on another blog a couple weeks ago and wanted to get the cute fish ones from Ikea... Laura said they have them at Dollarama. Did you buy these locally?

hey girl,
i borrowed a silicone heart shaped muffin "tray". :)
And i had the kids peal all of our old crayons.
10 minutes in a 250 degree oven.. so simple!! :)
((hug))
